Berberis julianae is an evergreen bushy, dense shrub. It is a flowering evergreen shrub native to Central China. Leaves turn red in autumn-winter.  Grows in any well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. They can be planted in borders as specimen shrubs and also make good formal or informal hedges.
