Solent Growers was born during the Covid pandemic out of the necessity to find an outlet for the produce of New Forest based wholesale growers, due to the closure of Garden centres during Lockdown restrictions. Initially supplying garden plants and horticultural sundries in the local area, the platform helped keep our businesses going. Solent Growers was created as a way to take back a measure of control – and provide a sense of hope.

Post pandemic, we were reluctant to give up on supplying those customers who thankfully came to our rescue and now are able to offer a selection of our plants online directly to consumers and deliver via pallet couriers across England and Wales. Additionally, we still offer local pickup (New Forest area) for no charge.

We’re not natural e-traders but our customers have hung in there with us while we learn, trusting our deeper plant knowledge. Thank you to all our customers for their ongoing support.
